Dangerous Goods Training

At Ital Logistics, we pride ourselves on our specialist knowledge and hands-on experience in the carriage of dangerous goods. With six DGSA-qualified professionals on-site and all operational staff completing annual ADR awareness training, we are fully equipped to provide expert guidance and education.

Bespoke Dangerous Goods Training for Logistics Providers

Our Dangerous Goods training courses are tailored specifically for freight forwarders and logistics professionals. Rather than offering a broad or generic overview, our training focuses on practical, applicable knowledge—perfect for those looking for more than a basic introduction but not yet ready to become a DGSA.

This “halfway house” approach bridges the gap between entry-level understanding and advanced qualifications. From mastering the use of the ADR book to correctly marking and labelling dangerous goods, our course is built around real-world logistics needs.

Course Topics Include:

  • The Law Behind the Legislation
  • ADR Book Familiarisation
  • UN Goods Classes
  • Limited Quantities & Small Load Exemptions
  • Types of Packaging
  • Labelling & Vehicle Markings
  • Safety Data Sheets
  • Dangerous Goods Notes & Transport Documentation

Preparing for ADR 2025

The new ADR 2025 regulations came into effect in January 2025, with full mandatory implementation by June 30, 2025. One of the most significant updates is the requirement for ADR training for all individuals involved in the transport of Limited Quantities—this includes office staff, drivers, warehouse personnel, and subcontractors.

Our training programs have been updated to reflect these changes, ensuring your team is fully compliant and confident in their roles.

Dangerous Goods Transport Document (DGN) Creation

What is a DGN?

A Dangerous Goods Note (DGN) is a key document required when transporting hazardous goods. It contains essential information about the consignment, ensuring all parties involved—carriers, forwarders, and authorities—have the necessary details at every stage of transit.

Why is it Important?

The Dangerous Goods Transport Document (otherwise known as a DGN) ensures compliance with transport regulations and provides clear, standardized documentation for all shipments of hazardous goods—whether for domestic or international transport.

How Ital Logistics Can Help

  • Shippers
  • Freight forwarders
  • Logistics partners

Our team ensures every document is prepared to the highest standard of compliance, minimizing delays and reducing risk.
