Service Information
“With Bordeaux being the world’s major wine industry capital, it’s a surprise that the boss hasn’t starting a direct service before!” said James when discussing our entry into the French market. But, joking aside, Bordeaux is a strategic area directly en route to gain entry into Spain on the North-West side of the Pyrenees Mountains by Irun.
Even before we started this new French service (January 2016), we have been providing road freight groupage services to Bordeaux and the surrounding towns of Libourne, Angouleme, Bax and Biarritz for some time. In particular, we have been transporting agricultural chemicals, both hazardous and non-hazardous for several of our clients.
Our freight service to Bordeaux
- Our service to Bordeaux and the surrounding regions is twice weekly, every Tuesday and Friday
- Transit times are around 48 hours from our Manchester terminal to the Bordeaux region
- Temperature-Controlled services are also available on many departures, in particular every Friday, as many of the trailers which we load are Spanish refrigerated vehicles returning to their homeland
