Service Information

The majority of the industrial sector in Lazio is south of Italy’s capital city of Rome, home to the famous Colosseum and which encircles the smallest country in the world, the Vatican City. A massive tourist area, particularly with regards to Rome and Pisa, with almost 75% of its employment is in the service sector.

The majority of its manufacturing industries comprise of chemicals, textiles, engineering, vehicles and electronics, and quite a large proportion of the goods which we export to Latina are chemical related.

Our freight services to Rome

In the past, our freight services to Rome and the surrounding regions of Frosinone and Latina have been serviced via our partners HQ in Milan (now Origgio), and delivering directly on trailer whenever feasible. This has restricted our growth in this region, primarily due to cost, making us more expensive as customers continue to balance the scales between service and price.

But following their opening of a new office in Pomezia, just outside Rome, from late September/early October 2020 we shall be offering a direct hub to hub service.

Our partner in Rome

In July 2020 our Italian partners opened a new branch in Pomezia, just south of Rome. Under the umbrella of their ITX Cargo Overseas brand, which started in Milan in 2011, its initial focus will be on sea and air services. However…

Capitalising on this new venture, it affords us the ability to commence a true direct service to Rome and its regions. Very few groupage consolidators, if any, offer a true direct road freight service to Rome, which we hope will provide us with a competitive edge over our major competitors.

No complaints

Dear Phil. In line with our ISO9001 accreditation we have to evaluate supplier performance and report the findings annually. The basis of this is to compare the number of deliveries your company has carried out, on our behalf, against the number of customer complaints we received and any other miscellaneous issues experienced during the year.

I am pleased to advise that ITAL have an excellent record with no complaints or issues recorded throughout 2013 so may I take this opportunity to thank you for all your assistance and hope that you will maintain this level of effective logistic service to our customers during 2014. Thank you.
