Moving down the country, once you pass the sea ports of Naples and Salerno, it’s as though the world suddenly slows down, save for the beautiful Amalfi coast where lie the towns of Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi, and just off-shore, the Isola di Capri.
Our freight service to Italy’s South West
With far less major industry beyond Salerno until you reach Reggio Calabria, the last point of call before you set sail for Sicily, transit times become longer and the frequency of service less.
Even though the frequency of our freight services to this corner of Italy is less than the more northern parts of Italy, we still do provide road freight services, including dangerous goods to and from the South West of Italy.
In some cases, because of the remoteness of some of these southern areas, many national carriers only drive up to Milan when their trailer is full! So providing accurate import transit times, whilst retaining a cost-effective solution, can be difficult.
Express services can be arranged when time is of essence, but naturally, such services attract a premium.
