Yes, it’s that time of year again, although you’d be forgiven for thinking so based on the weather. Nevertheless, we are approaching the period of driving restrictions throughout Europe. Always an issue, as it disrupts driving hours and reduces the level of availability. drivers too need a holiday.
A message from out Italian colleagues reads:
Starting from July 26th, every Friday there will be a traffic ban from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM until August 9th.
Additionally, on Friday, August 16th, our offices will be closed.
The weekend traffic bans remain unchanged as follows:
Saturday, July 27th: from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Sunday, July 28th: from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Saturday, August 3rd: from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Sunday, August 4th: from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Saturday, August 10th: from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Sunday, August 11th: from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Saturday, August 17th: from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Sunday, August 18th: from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Saturday, August 24th: from 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM
Sunday, August 25th: from 07:00 AM to 10:00 PM
It will be fairly similar across France and Spain, although the actual dates have not yet been confirmed.
Rest assured, we are still providing services to and from all of our routes throughout the holiday period, but to be on the safe side, please liaise with our operational colleagues as far in advance as possible to make sure we don’t all get caught short.
