UK Domestic Transport
We have often been asked about UK domestic haulage, but as our focus has always been on International freight consolidation, we have shied away such business – until now, that is.
In November 2021 we formed a sister company – ITAL TRANSPORT (UK) LIMITED – to handle some of our own domestic requirements, but also to handle domestic transport for consignments moved solely within the UK (or rather GB).
The fleet of vehicles is expanding, and by the start of the New Year, Ital Transport (UK) Ltd will have 3 x 26 ton vehicles, each with tail-lifts, 1 x 44 ton unit, 2 x 13.6M trailers and a long wheel-based van. All drivers employed are ‘old hands’ at this and they bring a wealth of experience.
In keeping with the groups ability to transport dangerous goods, all drivers are ADR trained and all vehicles are ADR compliant.
