This year, Italy is hosting the Winter Olympic Games. The official opening ceremony will take place on Friday, 6th February.
As a result, we expect significant disruptions to road traffic, particularly in and around the Milan area, including possible temporary road closures to allow the passage of official convoys.
Being the day of the opening ceremony, we expect this to be the most critical in terms of traffic congestion, delays and operational constraints.
This will affect both international and domestic transport vehicles handling freight movements in and out of the region.
Our Italian partners will do their best to maintain their standard loading and unloading schedules, although some delays are inevitable.
