We were extremely pleased to be announced as one of five finalists for the 37th British International Freight Association 2025 awards ceremony which was held today, January 15th 2026.
At Ital Logistics, we believe the success of our business is built on the strength, development, and dedication of our people. Having marked our 25th anniversary last August, our focus on staff development has never been stronger. We continue to invest in our team across all levels of the business – from new starters to senior management – ensuring everyone grows with us.
This emphasis on strength in development is also echoed in our domestic transport sister company – Ital Transport (UK) – who also specialises in the Carriage of Dangerous Goods.
In a landmark moment at the end of 2022 we completed a Management Buyout (MBO) which promoted five managers into director/shareholder positions, in turn providing for internal promotions to fill those ‘vacant’ positions. Having once stood in their shoes, we understand the importance of support and guidance. It is vital to us that the next generation continues to grow and succeed.
Staff development isn’t just a priority – it’s part of who we are. As specialists in the Carriage of Dangerous Goods, we have built one of the largest in-house DGSA (Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor) teams in our sector, supporting colleagues as they progress from operations, into management, and even into director positions, supporting growth across every department.
Our open commitment to training others, not just ourselves, embodies what the BIFA Staff Development Award stands for – investment in people, passion for progress, and leadership that raises industry standards.
We didn’t win, but to be shortlisted is indeed gratifying and vindication of our dedication and commitment in not only this, but all aspects of our business ethics.
