The years seem to fly by so quickly. Seems only a few months since posting about last Christmas. Must be a sign of age. But it is a welcome reprieve from the daily tasks to spend some time ‘off duty.’
Ital Logistics has always donated to worthy charities and local causes. From sending aid to the earthquake victims at a local parish in L’Aquila some 15+ years ago, to buying sports kits for children’s football teams, as well as donating to many charities. And most recently, sister company Ital Transport helped transport aid for the conflict in Ukraine, and contributed to a local school so they could purchase a minibus to be used by the school and it’s affiliated church.
At this time of year though, instead of client gifts, we use the money to donate to several charities of varying sizes. This year is no different, and our chosen donations are as follows:
- Barnabus Manchester – a homeless charity in Manchester
- Wild About Life Rescue – an animal rescue sanctuary for all wildlife and domestic animals providing a safe haven for their rehabilitation
- Heywood Food Bank – a local charity run by volunteers who hand out food parcels to those who need help
- Royal British Legion – needing no introduction, providing support for the Armed Forces, veterans and their families
Our Opening Hours over the Christmas period shall be affected as follows:
- Friday 22nd December – open till 3pm
- Monday 25th December – closed
- Tuesday 26th December – closed
- Wednesday 27th December – open 9am to 3pm
- Thursday 28th December – open 9am to 3pm
- Friday 29th December – closed
- Monday 1st January – closed
Whilst our offices will be closed on Friday 29th December, department group dial telephones will be on divert to department managers in case of any urgent matters.
