In association with BIFA, we were pleased to present a dangerous goods awareness training workshop at our offices today. Ital Logistics has been synonymous with the carriage of dangerous goods since inception, and we are pleased to share our knowledge with the up and coming forwarders of the future.
One of our company DGSAs, Adam Smethurst, along with Simon Morley, managing director/DGSA of sister company Ital Transport, made the presentation.
We would also like to express their thanks to Air Sea containers for the provision of some UN approved packaging’s as demonstration items for the workshop.
Our course is aimed specifically around ‘what you need to know (as a freight forwarder)’, as apposed to a broad overview of so much, that it becomes a mush. It is a ‘halfway house’ between a basic course and a step into the world of DGSA, by being hands on, from the thumbing of the ADR book to marking and labelling packages.
We hope to work with BIFA again with similar courses in the future. And if anybody would like to book us for training courses and/or DGSA consultancy, please feel free to contact us.
