Many will have seen the news regarding the flooding on the East Coast of Spain, in particular the Valencia region. This has now spread northwards and is also affecting Barcelona and a ‘red alert’ has been announced of extreme danger.
Many of the streets, canals and also the terminal building at the airport have been flooded. Our partners in Barcelona have suspended their operation for today and they have sent us some pictures of the area.
It goes without saying that logistics movements will be hampered, if not impossible until the situation eases.
