The hauliers strike which started on March 14th is reaching a debilitating state in Spain. The supply chains are extremely disrupted and there is no end in sight of a resolution according to the media and information from our Spanish partners.
Many roads and distribution centres have been blocked and we understand the port of Barcelona is also gridlocked. And in addition, the fishing industry has also joined the strike in protest of the high fuel prices.
We will do our best to keep customers updated as to collections and deliveries whilst our services are disrupted. Our Spanish partners are also doing their best to keep customers informed and that they are undoubtedly to expect delays.
We will of course do all we can to mitigate these, but naturally cannot be held responsible for any consequential losses that may be incurred due to such delays.
