When you reach a numeric milestone, it’s nice to share the story of how it came to be, and what happened along the way. Yes of course it doubles as advertising, but then, why not when you are proud of such achievements.
OK. It may not be a centennial, although in many ways it feels just as important. And that isn’t meant to play down those companies who have bigger numeric milestones to celebrate; quite the contrary.
